“My Extraordinary Imagination” an IYAF exhibition sponsored by John Lewis, Kingston

This year Schoolswaps teams up with the Kingston International Youth Arts Festival (IYAF) to help out with a mailart show for young people around the world. The theme of this years show is Imagination and we want to see yours!

A 13 legged purple and green striped spider with 3 ½ eyes and fluffy hair, a huge ear with a baseball cap that can speak and walk, a flying hedgehog with blue leaves instead of spikes? – Unleash your imagination and share a postcard with your idea of magical creatures, strange planets, fantastic structures, surreal worlds with millions of people around the world. Be part of what could become the largest online collection of individually created postcards!

Are you aged between 5-26? Great, then put your extraordinary imagination on to a postcard and send it to:

All postcards received by 20th June 2011 will also be exhibited in a postcard maze at The Penny School Gallery, Kingston upon Thames, England from 1st to 18th July 2011 as part of The International Youth Arts Festival.
