With The Great Big School Swap in full swing, hundreds of postcards are currently making their way across the world to and from the 66 classes signed up and it’s been really exciting to hear about all the cards coming in by email, on twitter and right here on schoolswaps in the schoolswaps network
The first display to go up of postcards received was in Coventry, in the UK West Midlands! As a little thank you for posting first, I sent a postcards through the post to the teacher myself, so that’s another one to add to the wall up there. It’s heartwarming to hear the feedback from teachers who have taken part. One class is convinced that they have friends in Korea now, and another class are really excited about their Chinese postcards.
It was a hard job getting it all set up, but I have to say, it was totally worth it!
So who wants to play next time? I’m planning to run the next one once the next term is in full swing, so how about October? Keep your eyes peeled…
